For your convince, we have below a few pictures of projects of different scale and cost. Each project was tailored to each client's requests and specifications - this included using recycled materials; timber, paving or plant materials; and custom plant selection to suite to various garden positions and space parameters, for a sophisticated and 'million dollar' look and feel to the gardens.
At this site we used 80% of recycled materials such as pavers and timber elements. This included: a new window frame and plant container; an ornamental plant ladder and edging around paving area.
Plant material was taken from existing garden beds by dividing and cutting plants which we then re-potted in the custom built plant containers.
For our recent project at Kingsford, we were asked to transform the courtyard of a town house to make it an attractive area for entertaining as well as family relaxation. This involved using natural stone pavers to create a solid surface. As this is a full sun area, we used the stone materials which would capture the sunlight.
We had to ensure that the existing trees remained healthy and by raising the garden beds around the trees to keep the natural root system undisturbed. A pine seat bench was also built around the edge of the garden.
At this site we were asked to make plant selections for a predominately shady area. We chose plants that will provide some perennial colour during the flowering season. We contrasted the dark green leaves of the plants with bright red wood-chips which were used as ground cover.
